On a trip to China with Berlin Partner for Business and Technology, Urban Innovation continued its international outreach. The journey included visits to Beijing and Shanghai and was accompanied by representatives from the Senate Department for Economics, Energy, and Public Enterprises.

The team got detailed insights into the Chinese market and political landscape through meetings with organizations like the German Center & Berlin Business Desk China, the German Chamber of Commerce in China, and the German Embassy in Beijing. The team also visited innovative local companies and presented the Urban Innovation network at the China International Import Expo (CIIE). Sebastian took the stage at a panel discussion at the AHK Greater China Xceleration Days 2023.
